He was such a wonderful character and I loved him instantly. I just wanted to hug him and never let him go. She wasn't exactly a huge feature in the book or one of the evil women, so I can cope. The whole gay guy gets drunk and sleeps with female friend. But it did make me wonder how often that happens. I was glad his son's mom was mentioned, too. It's not like other shifter stories, which was nice. The 'Triad' series by Poppy Dennison with four 100-200 pages books: There is soon steamy attraction and an well done though through adventure in their hunt for a evil daemon, or who it now is out there, who is trying to steal their paranormal unique magic. Simon can't but feel the attraction already the first time they meet. The cubs' alpha, a man named Gray Townsend, is a (quite) young grey haired new pack alpha and also a single dad. He is saving them from a demon intent on draining them of their magic. They're a bunch of young werewolf cubs and for once in his life, Simon breaks the rules and rescues the cubs. Simon Osborne, a mage hears children's cries for help. Just 'hmmm' but I plan to pick up and give, at least, the second book part ( Body Magic - and new lovebirds) a fair chance as well.

I liked most of it but I must admit that this book felt a bit like "I've seen it, I've done it and I need 'more'.". Three xmas balls from me for a sweet paranormal with lovely cute characters -über cozy kids, a fun old auntie, a stylish old vampire, a lot of furry wolves, two main charcters to like- and a pretty good storyline plot. It is the evening before Christmas Eve, the "big" day up here, so this will be very short.

~ I choosed to listening to the 6 hrs audiobook narrated by Robert G. This author, Poppy Dennison is new for me and I didn't know much about her style or books when I started. Mind Magic is the first part in the PNR series, 'Triad' (M/M).
